11 of 11: when i entered my 30s
So for the first time ever, I spent my birthday on vacation. I've always wanted to do this and this year, I did! My 30th birthday on the 11th of the month was well-spent in Hong Kong with my good friend, Lou.
It felt different and strange but also fun and new and hopefully a good omen to the start of my 30s. I am 30. It's hard to believe.

12 of 12: when I couldn't believe it was the last 12 of 12 of the year again
Mondays are always wonderful days to wake up to and though I had a 10am meeting and I knew I was going to be slightly late, I still took the bus. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing, to be honest. Rarely do my Saturdays involve going out and meeting people but sometimes, we make excuses and sometimes, it's worth the trouble of getting up and out of bed (still my number one choice, though). Especially now that I've gone back to work, I cherish weekends way more than I used to in my phase of unemployment.

So it was one of those 12ths of the month where I totally forgot to message mellowdee but she managed just fine on her own. meanwhile, I did not manage so well. I totally forgot to take photos during the day and I'm glad I just found time to take photos for a bit.

The 12th also happens to be the Philippine Independence day and it was fitting that I spent today enjoying my freedom. Work days are always pretty monotonous when it comes to trying to take photos of it. But I'm trying my best to mix it up and take different parts of the day and trying to make the day less 'my office desk' and 'my bedroom' but of course that couldn't be avoided. Here's a glimpse into my 12th of May -- it was a Thursday and it wasn't bad at all.
